Moving season

Booked out around July 1st? Reserve early.

Nearly 40% of Québec leases turn over on July 1st, making it the busiest moving day in North America — and the tightest week of the year for move-out and move-in cleaning slots in Montréal. If your lease ends around then, book at least 2–3 weeks ahead.

FAQ

House & apartment cleaning, answered

How much does a house cleaner cost in Montréal?

Recurring cleaning is typically priced by bedroom/bathroom count rather than a flat hourly rate, with one-time deep cleans and move-out cleans priced higher than a maintained recurring visit.

Is 2 hours a week enough for a house cleaner?

For a maintained 1–2 bedroom home, 2 hours weekly is often enough. Larger homes, pets, kids, or a first-time deep clean usually need more time — we'll flag that in your quote.

Do you offer move-in / move-out cleaning?

Yes. Move-out cleans cover appliance interiors, cabinet interiors, baseboards and window sills — the detail level landlords check at inspection. Book early around July 1st.

What's the difference between a house cleaner and a maid?

In Montréal the terms are used interchangeably for residential cleaning. "House cleaner" usually refers to a recurring or one-time service booked through a company, which is what Relève offers.
